Puppy financing options available

Financing at our stores runs through TerracePets. You apply to TerracePets, and TerracePets decides your outcome, your amount and your terms — we hand you the application link and then help you use whatever offer you receive. Because the lender makes that call, the honest answer to “what rate will I get?” is that it depends on your application, and our team will go through the offer with you in store.

Have five things ready. A valid government-issued I.D. A secondary form of I.D., such as a credit card, a vehicle registration or a utility bill. A mobile phone number. A valid email address. And a checking or savings account in your own name and in good standing. With those in hand the application takes a few minutes.

Three steps. First, apply online through the link on your store’s financing page and get pre-qualified. Second, come to the store, choose your favorite puppy and review your financing quote with our team. Third, finalize your financing contract in store and take your puppy home the same day. You are welcome to apply before you have chosen a puppy, which means you arrive already knowing where you stand.

A puppy, and also the food and supplies you buy at our stores. Plenty of families finance the whole first setup — crate, bed, food, bowls, leashes — alongside the puppy itself, which spreads the cost of the week everything happens at once.

Apply anyway. We’d love to help, whatever your credit story. Approval and terms belong to the lender rather than to us, so the only way to find out what is available to you is to submit an application and see what comes back.

The amount depends on the offer you are approved for, which is why we go through the numbers with you in store before anything is signed.

We take all major credit cards, debit cards and US dollars in cash, alongside low monthly payment plans, and you may combine several of these for one puppy if that suits you better. Families often put part of the cost on a card and finance the balance.

Our team is happy to go over the full price with you, including tax and the microchip fee, before you decide. The price already covers the vaccinations given before the puppy reached our floor. Financing is a separate agreement between you and the lender, with its own terms, which is why you receive two sets of paperwork rather than one.
