Why start with the new arrivals

Two reasons. The first is choice — early in a puppy’s time in store you are choosing from a full litter rather than from whoever is left, which matters if you have a preference on size, coat or character.

The second is that this page is the fastest way to spot a breed we do not always have. Our line-up depends on what our breeder network has available, so a breed that has been absent for a while will show up here first. If there is something specific you are waiting for, tell our team and they can let you know when one arrives, rather than leaving you to refresh a page.

Settling in before the floor

A puppy that has just arrived is not put straight in front of visitors. New arrivals get a quiet stretch to rest, eat, drink and adjust to the noise and light of a new building before they start meeting people, and our staff will tell you if a particular puppy is still in that window.

It is worth knowing this if you visit and cannot see a puppy you spotted online. Ask at the desk. It is almost always a matter of timing rather than availability.

Visiting

Both stores are set up for you to spend time with a puppy rather than look at one through glass. You can sit down with it, see how it responds to being handled, and get a feel for the personality — which is the part no photograph conveys.

Come with the practical questions ready. How big is this one likely to finish. How much grooming does this coat need. What is the routine it has been on. Our staff would much rather answer those before you take a puppy home than after.

Paperwork, warranty and payment

Every puppy comes with paperwork covering where it came from and what it has had done, plus a warranty — ask our team to walk you through exactly what it covers before you decide.

If you would rather spread the cost, financing is available through TerracePets, including plans with little or nothing down. It takes a few minutes in store and our staff can tell you what you will need to bring.
