The values we hold ourselves to are simple to state and demanding to keep: work only with licensed breeders, look at their operation with our own eyes, and say plainly where every puppy came from. A store can write anything it likes on a wall. What actually reaches a family is decided months earlier, in a whelping box, by someone we chose. Care Before a Puppy Reaches the Floor
Our breeders raise their litters with the mother nearby, in clean quarters, on quality food, with early handling so that people become ordinary rather than startling. Vaccination and deworming schedules are kept on time and documented. Before a puppy is offered to a family, a licensed veterinarian examines it and certifies it, and the paperwork from that exam comes with the puppy.
The 15 Year Limited Puppy Health Warranty*
We back our puppies with a 15 year limited puppy health warranty* — the longest running in the industry. It is a warranty, written down and handed to you, covering congenital and viral concerns, and its exact terms live in your Puppy Companion Purchase Contract rather than in a slogan. Read it before you sign, and ask us about any line you want explained. Our team expects that question and welcomes it.
Two things are worth knowing up front. The asterisk points to conditions that apply, all of which are in the contract. And at our Nashville store the warranty is a paid optional addition rather than part of the base price, so ask in store for the specifics there.
Transparent Pricing
The price you are quoted is the price you pay. It already includes the vaccinations, deworming and veterinary exams handled before the puppy reached the floor, and the figure in the Puppy Purchase Contract is final. If you use a payment plan, the plan is a separate agreement with the lender and carries its own terms — our financing page explains how that works and what you need to apply.
Meeting in Person Before You Decide
We ask families to meet a puppy before buying it, because a fifteen-year relationship deserves more than a photograph. A pet counselor brings the puppies you asked about into a private area and then gets out of the way. Sit down. Watch how a puppy greets you, how it recovers from a surprise, how it behaves once the novelty wears off. Families frequently arrive set on one breed and leave with another because a different puppy simply chose them.

Our responsibility runs past the front door. Questions about feeding, crate training, grooming intervals and vet visits are the ones we field most, and our team answers them for as long as you are asking.
