The Siberian Husky, a compact sled dog with a thick coat, was bred for endurance in pulling light loads across frozen landscapes. They are friendly, dignified, and fastidious. Known for their almond-shaped eyes, which can be brown, blue, or one of each, they have a mischievous charm. These medium-sized dogs have a powerful yet effortless gait and weigh up to 60 pounds, making them lighter than the Alaskan Malamute. They thrive in family environments and get along with other dogs but aren't great watchdogs. Siberian Huskies are energetic and need space to run, yet they are naturally clean and odor-free.
