We had an amazing experience with Blue Sky Puppies! Jessica was absolutely wonderful. She was patient, kind, and answered all of our questions throughout the process. She even put a note on Ace’s kennel letting the staff know he was waiting for his family and texted me to let me know he’d be waiting for us. That personal touch meant so much. We brought home a sweet, calm, healthy Havapoo, and our family couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Jessica, for making this such a special experience!

Excellent experience. From the first moment they were very friendly and answered all our questions. The puppy arrived clean, healthy and well cared for. You can see that they care about the well-being of their dogs and finding them a good home. The process was clear and professional, and they made us feel confident with our decision. We are very happy with our new family member. I totally recommend them!

Meet Crew the Multi-poo!🐾 This place was clean and Dana was great! The whole process of adopting this sweet little guy was seamless. Blue sky reached out to us multiple times after to check on him to make sure he was good and adjusting. I waited to make this review after having had him for two weeks to make sure he was the best puppy ever like I thought that he was. He is healthy. He is already potty, trained, smart energetic. We couldn’t be happier with this new addition to our family. Thanks again, blue sky puppies. Shout out to Dana for being so sweet to my family and giving us extra time to make sure he was the one. I would highly recommend this place to find your new family member.

We are open today! Come visit our beautiful variety of all sizes of Whoodle puppies we have for sale at Blue Sky Puppies!
The Whoodle crosses a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier with a Poodle. This page brings the sizes together so you can compare them in one place.
The Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier is an Irish farm dog, used as an all-purpose worker on smallholdings: herding, guarding, and controlling vermin. It is a terrier, but an atypically sunny one, and it is best known for two things.
The first is the coat, which is genuinely unlike most terrier coats. It is soft, silky, and wavy, closer to hair than to the harsh wiry texture the terrier group is known for, and it sheds very little.
The second is the greeting. Wheatens are famous for what owners call the Wheaten greetin’, a full-body, jumping-up, delighted welcome that they will happily give a stranger. It is charming and it needs training if you would rather not be jumped on.
Crossed with the Poodle, the result is a silky, low-shedding dog with a bouncy, sociable outlook and plenty of brain.
A standard Whoodle is a medium-to-large dog that needs real daily exercise and early work on manners, given the enthusiasm both parent breeds bring to greetings.
A mini Whoodle, built on a Miniature Poodle parent, is easier to manage physically and fits smaller homes, while keeping the same character. It is not a calmer dog, just a smaller one.
Adult size varies in any crossbreed, so ask us about the individual puppy’s parents rather than relying on the size label.
Whoodle coats run from wavy to curly and shed very little. That is the appeal, and the cost is regular grooming.
Brush three or four times a week in sections down to the skin, and comb through afterwards to find what the brush skimmed. Professional grooming every six to eight weeks.
Both parent breeds have coats that change significantly as the puppy matures, usually somewhere around eight months to a year, and the adult coat is more work than the puppy one. Owners who build the habit early sail through that transition; owners who leave it are often surprised. Behind the ears, under the front legs, and around the collar are the first places to check.
Keep the hair around the eyes trimmed and check ears weekly.
Both sizes are bright and quick to learn, and both are exuberant. Prioritize four things early: loose-leash walking, calm greetings, a reliable recall, and a settle on a mat.
Terrier heritage brings some prey drive, so a secure fence and a leash in open spaces are sensible. Poodle heritage brings the intelligence that needs occupying, so plan for training sessions and puzzle work alongside the walk.
Browse each size on its own: standard and mini.
