We had an amazing experience with Blue Sky Puppies! Jessica was absolutely wonderful. She was patient, kind, and answered all of our questions throughout the process. She even put a note on Ace’s kennel letting the staff know he was waiting for his family and texted me to let me know he’d be waiting for us. That personal touch meant so much. We brought home a sweet, calm, healthy Havapoo, and our family couldn’t be happier. Thank you, Jessica, for making this such a special experience!

Excellent experience. From the first moment they were very friendly and answered all our questions. The puppy arrived clean, healthy and well cared for. You can see that they care about the well-being of their dogs and finding them a good home. The process was clear and professional, and they made us feel confident with our decision. We are very happy with our new family member. I totally recommend them!

Meet Crew the Multi-poo!🐾 This place was clean and Dana was great! The whole process of adopting this sweet little guy was seamless. Blue sky reached out to us multiple times after to check on him to make sure he was good and adjusting. I waited to make this review after having had him for two weeks to make sure he was the best puppy ever like I thought that he was. He is healthy. He is already potty, trained, smart energetic. We couldn’t be happier with this new addition to our family. Thanks again, blue sky puppies. Shout out to Dana for being so sweet to my family and giving us extra time to make sure he was the one. I would highly recommend this place to find your new family member.

Aussiepoo (All Sizes) Puppies For Sale

We are open today! Come visit our beautiful variety of all sizes of Aussiepoo puppies we have for sale at Blue Sky Puppies!

Toy, mini, and standard in one place

The Aussiepoo crosses an Australian Shepherd with a Poodle, and it comes in several sizes depending on the Poodle behind the litter. This page gathers them so you can compare.

Before the sizes, the important thing to understand about this cross is what both parents were bred to do.

Two working breeds

Australian Shepherds are herding dogs. Despite the name, the breed was developed in the western United States, working stock on ranches, and it was selected for stamina, focus, and the willingness to work all day. Poodles were water retrievers, and they are among the most intelligent dogs in the world.

Neither parent is a companion breed. Both were bred to have a job, and the cross inherits that squarely.

Small does not mean less energy

This is the single most important point on this page. Breeding a herding cross down in size reduces the amount of dog, not the amount of drive. A toy Aussiepoo can be every bit as busy, alert, and demanding of mental work as a standard one, and owners who choose a smaller size expecting a lower-effort dog are usually surprised.

Whatever size you choose, plan for daily exercise plus real enrichment: training sessions, puzzle feeders, scent games, a trick to learn, a walk with time to sniff. Twenty focused minutes of thinking does more than an hour of unstructured yard time.

Herding behavior at home

Herding instinct can show up as chasing, circling, or nipping at moving feet, particularly with running children or other pets. It is instinct rather than aggression, and it responds to redirection: teach the puppy to fetch a toy when it gets excited, reward calm around movement, and interrupt before the chase starts.

Aussiepoos also tend to be alert and watchful. Training a settle after the first bark is easier than trying to switch off the instinct.

Coat

Expect a wavy to curly coat that sheds little and mats readily. Brush three or four times a week down to the skin, comb afterwards, and book professional grooming every six to eight weeks.

The puppy coat usually changes texture during the first year and becomes more work. Start handling paws, ears, and muzzle in week one so grooming is routine.

Choosing your size

Standard Aussiepoos need the most space and the most physical exercise, and they need leash manners taught early. Minis suit most households and are easier to manage. Toys need far less distance but the same mental work and a bit of care around stairs and furniture.

Adult size is an estimate in any crossbreed, so ask us about the individual puppy.

Look at each size on its own if you prefer: standard, mini, and toy.
