The Cockapoo, a mix of Poodle and Cocker Spaniel, is known for the Cocker Spaniel's affectionate and the Poodle's intelligence and hypoallergenic coat. Cockapoos are playful, sociable, and make excellent family pets, getting along well with children and other animals. This breed, dating back to the 1960s, is one of the original 'designer dogs.'
